Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic attracts attention as he wears budgie smugglers while training in Marbella
WIMBLEDON champion Novak Djokovic has found a novel way to beat the scorching summer heat - by training in his budgie smugglers.
The former world No1 is currently based in the Spanish city of Marbella as he builds up his preparations for the US Open later this month.
With Spain melting in a heatwave, it's not the best weather to be hitting the tennis courts in but Serbian Djokovic is doing his best to stay in shape regardless.
The world N10 enjoyed a few days in Monte Carlo training with tennis pal Grigor Dimitrov before moving to Marbella, where he owns a house, with his wife Jelena, son Stefan and daughter Tara.
On Friday he posted a video on Instagram running away from his beloved dogs before bombing into a pool in his swimming trunks.
But he switched the trunks for even less swimwear material a day later, hitting the streets for a run in just a pair of budgie smugglers, baseball cap and trainers.
