Easter Week in Marbella programme 2018
Easter week (Semana Santa) in Marbella is something everyone should enjoy. The spectacle, the culture and the tradition will enthrall all who see it. The processions start joyous with Jesus's arrival in Jerusalem and become more sombre as the week progresses.

March 25 Palm Sunday (Domingo de Ramos)
Theme: Jesus arrives in Jerusalem.
Leaving from: The procession leaves the Chapel San Juan de Dios at 18.00 with 2 tronos.
Tunics: The tunics are white with overlay and 250 Nazarenos (mostly children) dressed in Pharaoh green stripes, red & white. / Second White and green cinculos.
Thrones: The first is carried by 60 men. The second carried by 54 men.
Band: Cornetas y Tambores Band of the Blessed Sacrament of Yunquera and accompanies Ntro. Father Jesus The Musical Group La Pollinica de Marbella. / The second Alhaurin de la Torre Music Band ' Los Moraos'

From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Reclining Holy Christ will be guarded by members of the Fourth Legion of the Legion in the Church of the Incarnation. Likewise, at 7:30 p.m., the members of the Governing Board and the picket and the Legion War Band will request the deadline for the use of the City Banner at the gates of the City Hall being received by the Municipal Corporation.
