Club Med looking for 320 staff for its new Marbella hotel

The old Don Miguel hotel behind the town centre is being revamped and renovated for the planned March opening

The new Magna Marbella hotel in Marbella, to be launched next spring by Club Med, has started a recruitment drive. The French-based hotel operator has included its new Marbella complex as part of a wider search for employees in France and Italy. Of the 400 positions, as many as 320 are for the Magna Marbella. Some 200 posts will be directly recruited by Club Med and the rest via subcontractors.

The positions are for a variety of departments, however the firm says that three in four of the new staff will be from the local area and will work in the food and beverage department. As well as restaurant and kitchen positions, there are also openings in sport and leisure.

The Club Med Magna Marbella is in the revamped Don Miguel hotel behind the old town and is due to receive its first guests in March 2020.
